Post 302 Shuttle Van Ride Program
Providing Transportation Support for Local Veterans
The Post 302 Shuttle Van Ride Program is a community service initiative designed to ensure that veterans in the Hutto area have reliable, safe, and accessible transportation when they need it most. Operated by the Richard A. Oman American Legion Post 302, this program offers complimentary shuttle rides to support veterans’ essential needs, appointments, and community engagement.

Our volunteer drivers provide transportation to medical appointments, government offices, Post events, and other critical destinations—helping veterans overcome mobility challenges, reduce transportation barriers, and stay connected to the services that support their well-being.
The program reflects Post 302’s commitment to honoring those who served by offering practical, hands-on assistance that improves quality of life. Whether it’s a trip to the VA Clinic, a local resource center, or a community event, our goal is to ensure every veteran in our area has dependable access to transportation.
Please read our Shuttle Ride sign-up policy before filling out the request form. Also note this is not a guaranteed pickup, we operate this program through volunteers and is dependent on our drivers availability.
