Community Voices, Stronger Service: Post 302 Wants Your Input
The Richard A. Oman American Legion Post 302 is reaching out to local veterans and members of the Hutto community because we believe the strongest organizations are built through listening, collaboration, and shared purpose. As our Post builds out our new home and expands our role as a community partner, we want to ensure that what we create reflects the needs, interests, and expectations of those we serve. Veterans’ needs evolve, communities change, and meaningful service begins by understanding what matters most today.
As we prepare this space to host programs, meetings, and community engagement opportunities, your input matters. We want to hear what veterans, families, and community members would like to see offered—from support services and educational initiatives to gatherings, volunteer projects, and events that bring people together. This outreach is not simply about gathering ideas; it is about creating a welcoming, purposeful environment shaped by those who will use it.
By inviting feedback and participation, Post 302 aims to strengthen trust, increase engagement, and build lasting partnerships throughout Hutto. Our mission remains clear: to proudly serve our veterans, their families, the Hutto community, and our country.
We invite you to fill out our survey and share your ideas so we can better understand what you want to see and ensure our new Post home becomes a place of service, connection, and positive impact for years to come.
