Coffee With the Chaplain
Coffee With the Chaplain is a warm, welcoming outreach initiative hosted by the Richard A. Oman American Legion Post 302. This program gives veterans a relaxed, informal space to connect with our Post Chaplain over a cup of coffee—offering encouragement, conversation, and spiritual or emotional support in a friendly setting.
Open to all veterans, families, and community members, Coffee With the Chaplain provides an opportunity to:

Whether someone seeks a listening ear, casual conversation, or a moment of reflection, our Chaplain is here to support the veteran community with compassion and respect.
Held regularly at Post 302 or local community spots, Coffee With the Chaplain helps ensure no veteran feels alone—and that every member of our community feels heard, understood, and valued.
Weekly Schedule:
• Occurs every Monday morning at 9:00 AM
• Program begins January 5, 2026
• Hosted at: 101 Park St. Hutto, TX 78634
Program Purpose:
• Provide emotional and spiritual support for veterans
• Build camaraderie within the veteran community
• Encourage wellness and connectedness
• Strengthen Post 302’s community outreach
Transportation Support:
The Post 302 Shuttle Van may be available for veterans needing transportation to the event.
